Echoes of Renewal is a visually striking dance work that explores the essential connection between humanity and the natural world. Created by Continuum Dance Project, with projection by Ernesto Galan, the piece blends powerful, expressive choreography with themes of attention, care, and reciprocity. Viewers are invited to feel, not just observe, our place within nature’s cycles.
Inspired by Robin Wall Kimmerer’s ‘Braiding Sweetgrass’ and a personal sense of disconnection, the work challenges audiences to reconsider their relationship to the seasons, and the land we inhabit. Designed for both indoor and outdoor stages, Echoes of Renewal is adaptable, evocative, and timely; an experience that resonates long after the final movement.
The creation of this work is made possible by a year-long residency at Boston University Wheelock’s Earl Center for Learning & Innovation.

Not Eye, Us is an immersive dance-theater work exploring the intersection of gaze and power through a multi-layered connection to Michael Alfano’s sculpture ‘Cubed’. Through manipulation of the sculpture’s nine moveable pieces, each pigmented with a different skin tone, Not Eye, Us examines individual diversity within a united community; propelling the audience and performers on an interactive journey.

Echoes of Renewal is a multidisciplinary immersive performance by Continuum Dance Project (CDP), that examines humanity’s connection with the natural world. Featuring projection by Ernesto Galan, this work uses Robin Wall Kimmerer’s book Braiding Sweetgrass as inspiration to explore ideas of attention, care and reciprocity. Echoes aims to bring the feeling of the outdoors inside through movement, video, and textiles. The creation of this work is the result of a year-long residency at BU Wheelock’s Earl Center for Learning & Innovation.
